My Greenovation Blog – Introduction

I invite you to follow the progress as we “greenovate” our home in North Arlington and the Arbour Realty office in Ballston. The house is only
three years old, so it doesn’t make sense to start ripping it apart and creating waste. The office was only built about one year ago so the same rule applies. There is still plenty of room for improvement. Our high-level goals are as follows: energy savings, healthier environment, improved comfort and positive environmental impact. Return on investment is another important factor. This overlaps energy savings to some degree, but I am also concerned with how it will effect the homes value when we sell it one day. The following blogs will provide information about the supplies, contractors, pricing, desired outcome, advice and the opportunity for you to comment with questions.
