Grasscycling

It’s a beautiful sunny day, you’ve just mowed your lawn using your new push mower, which helps reduce your carbon footprint, and also
reduce noise pollution. Now you face the dilemma of what to do with your grass cuttings. The natural response would be to bag them up and put them out for Arlington County Trash Collection.
Unfortunately, after all you’re hard efforts to reduce your carbon emissions this would significantly increase them with the man power, vehicle emissions and material waste (i.e. bag for the clippings) generated to dispose of your garden waste. Fear not, your hard environmental efforts are not in vain, why not try Grasscycling.
Grasscycling involves leaving the grass cuttings on your lawn, which in turn will fertilize and give back important nutrients to your lawn. Grasscycling is the most efficient way to manage grass clipping. Grasscycling is good for your lawn, and it reduces the amount of trash that must be collected and disposed of at the Waste to Energy Plant.
I would love to hear from anyone who is currently Grasscycling, and also from anyone who has additional environmental tips.
