Fall is officially here in Arlington County, and you really don’t need a calendar to identify the start of fall, the huge leaf piles in the Arlington 
Virginia Neighborhoods are a good enough indicator.
Arlington County will be collecting your leaves starting November 2nd through to January 15th 2010. There are two ways Arlington, VA Homeowners can have their leaves collected, either by racking your leaves into the curb or placing leaves ONLY in paper biodegradable lawn/ leaf bags and leaving them out for collecting. Arlington County Community is ever committed to the environment and recycling, after the leaves have been collected they will be recycled into mulch that will be available for Arlington Virginia homes.
