Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, funds local and national programs in and around the Metropolitan area. The Susan G Komen Race for the Cure is taking place on the National Mall, Washington DC on Saturday, June 6th 2009.
This is a great opportunity to get out and raise awareness for a cause that effects the lives of so many people worldwide. In addition to the awareness this event provides, 75% of funds raised will stay in the Washington DC area and provide valuable local screening, treatment and education programs for the medically underserved.
