You don’t need to be down in New Orleans to get into the mood of Mardi Gras., in fact you don’t need to go far from home, just come to Courthouse Arlington to celebrate Mardi Gras 2014.

On Tuesday, March 4th enjoy the Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade. The parade will start at 8:00 p.m. at N. Barton Street and will make its way up Wilson Blvd to N. Irving Street in Clarendon. The Clarendon- Courthouse Mardi Gras parade will feature bands, floats, animals in costume etc. and promises to be a fun event for all family members.

Get into the spirit of Mardi Gras by visiting the pre Mardi Gras party at Bayou Bakery (1515 N. Courthouse Road), David Guas will hold his annual Bayou Gras Block Pre Party in front of the restaurant in Courthouse, the fun kicks off at 5.p.m. Click here for further information and to purchase tickets for the Mardi Gras Party.

If you are interested in participating in the Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade event, it is still possible to sign up to volunteer.
