Reducing our dependence on oil is a high priority, and I am excited to see the introduction of more cars which get higher miles per
gallon, hybrid cars and also the introduction of electric powered cars. I suspect over the coming years, we will see a big influx in cars that are powered by electricity. Of course, electric powered cars will need a way to be charged while they are away from home. So what happens if you are out, and your vehicle runs low on power?

What I expect to see when electric powered cars become more popular, is that electric car charging stations will replace gas stations. But for now, what happens to people who already have an electric powered car?

This may not come as a surprise to those of you living in Arlington VA, and who know that Arlington VA is committed to environmental progress, but Pentagon City Mall in Arlington VA just unveiled four electric vehicle charging stations that have been installed in the Pentagon City mall parking garage. Apparently the electric vehicle charging stations can partially charge a car in 90 minutes.
Once again Arlington VA continues its green commitment, be on the lookout for other Arlington VA shopping malls, car parks, etc. to install electric vehicle charging stations.
