The Court at Lyon Village

Located on the corner of N. Veitch and Lee Highway – 3 blocks north of Courthouse Metro – 13 new townhomes are currently being constructed with plans to deliver around April 2012.

You can see from the following sketches, these don’t look like your typical cookie cutter townhomes. The exteriors are brick and stone. Even the balconies and roof-lines have character. I love the rounded corner-unit that has a castle like appearance.

Every one of the homes will come standard with the premier finishes you should expect in a high-end home, rather than making purchasers pay for a long list of upgrades. I don’t know about you, but I much prefer this approach. If you purchase early enough, you can have some input when it comes to choices such as the color of tiles, granite and the hardwood floors.

Each townhouse includes generous outdoor space perfect for entertainment, gardening and grilling; on lots that range up to 3053 square feet. Each home also includes a 2-car garage. Another bonus is the view. The Court at Lyon Village sits on hill with vistas that reach parts of McLean, Georgetown and the National Cathedral.

The townhomes will all be Energy Star certified, demonstrating their efficiency. With utility bills climbing, this will become more and more important for homeowners at The Court at Lyon Village. The higher grades of insulation should make the interior of these homes more comfortable and quieter. It is also likely to improve the re-saleability of these homes in the future.

Sales have recently begun and prices currently range from $897,000 to $1,070,000. I understand that there is currently a hold on the $897,000 townhome, but there are some other great choices within close reach.
