Clarendon Day 2011
Mark your calendars for one of Arlington VA’s favorite events. Saturday September 24th 2011 marks the 14th Annual Clarendon
Day. This family friendly event in Clarendon VA is a perfect excuse to come together with your family, friends and neighbors and enjoy all Clarendon VA has to offer.
The fun kicks off at 8:20 am with a Pacers 5K run, followed by a 10K run at 9am for those more adventurous. Keeping in the theme that Clarendon Day VA is for the whole family, there will also be a kids dash at 9:30am. Registrations for the Pacer’s runs will be at N.Fillmore & Wilson, which is 2 short blocks from Clarendon Metro.
After the Pacers running events are complete the Clarendon Day 2011 Festival officially opens at 11am. This is your chance to meet local businesses & restaurants. This year there will be two dozen arts and crafts exhibitors, and more than 30 local businesses and nonprofits. Please remember to stop by and say hello to your friends at Arbour Realty, this is also your opportunity tell us who you think the ‘Best Of’ is in Clarendon. The short and fun questionnaire will ask for Clarendon’s favorite pizza place, happy hour & coffee shop. All questionnaires will be entered into our prize drawing. Results from our “Best Of” in Clarendon VA questionnaire will be announced in our newsletter & on Facebook.
Clarendon Day will have 3 stages featuring live music throughout the day, during which time you will have the opportunity to purchase beer, wine and food from local Arlington VA restaurants and bars, and there will also be a KidZone and PNC Mobile Learning to keep the young ones entertained.
