Arlington takes another big step forward toward energy efficiency, financial savings and reduced environmental impact

Today Arlington VA took a major step to create a more sustainable community and launched a year long planning process focused on energy.  The plan hopes to transform theSegel-Moss1-1 way energy is created, transported, stored and used here in Arlington Virginia.  This meeting brought together a newly formed ‘green ribbon’ task force of Virginia residents, businesses and County staff.  This has real possibilities to transform the Arlington community much the way the transportation master plan has created a model transit oriented smart growth community.  Stay tuned here for more details as we continue to learn more about how this plan will form and how you can inform it.
