The Best Rooftop Buildings in the Arlington Virginia area.
When considering a condo purchase most people think about space, light and location, but not many people think about the possibility of outdoor space. When moving into a condo building most of us align ourselves with the fact that we will be giving up a garden, and believe we will lucky to find a condo with a small balcony.
A recent article on Urban Turf states that the Washington DC area has some great condos that feature amazing rooftop gardens. In fact right here in the Arlington, VA area The Residence at Liberty Center in Ballston and The Waterview in Rosslyn were on Urban Turf list of top five condo buildings with Rooftop Gardens. The article states “If you are comparing two buildings in similar price points, then you are probably more likely to go with the one with the better roof,” Jamie Test of CondoAuthority told UrbanTurf. “Most people are willing to pay five or ten grand more for that type of amenity.”
The Residence at Liberty Center in Ballston residents take advantage of the rooftop swimming pool, sun deck and sand-colored furniture, as well as the fitness center that looks out on downtown Ballston. The Waterview Condominium rooftop in Rosslyn is thirty stories above the Potomac River and a stone’s throw from Key Bridge, has views of Georgetown, the Kennedy Center, virtually every major Washington monument and many parts of Arlington. There is no pool or grilling area, but there are tables and chairs for you to relax in as you take in your surroundings.
