Helping You Plant Roots in VA, DC & MD

The Waterview Condominium is a Unique Addition to Rosslyn

The Waterview condominium in Rosslyn brings something special to Arlington. You look out over the Key Bridge into Georgetown, down the Potomac River, across most of the major DC monuments. I heard someone compare it to being in Brooklyn looking back into Manhattan. Even looking down into Rosslyn it is a perspective I’ve never experienced in the DC area. The Waterview condominium is the start to something new for Rosslyn with Turnberry Towers and Central Place on the horizon. Both will be tall buildings with a sky scrapping perspective of Rosslyn. Where Waterview condominium will remain unique is with its views. Waterview condominium sits with unobstructed views of the Potomac and Washington DC shared only by commercial office buildings. Who needs artwork in these homes when you have floor-to-ceiling windows framing a 365 day natural landscape. At The Waterview you become mesmerized. A gourmet kitchen and luxurious baths exist but are suddenly not very important.

The Waterview also includes another unique feature. It shares the building with Kimpton boutique Hotel Palamar. The first 12 floors belong to the hotel. Floors 14 through 30 belong to The Wateview. As a resident you get full access to all the hotel amenities including a state of the art gym. You can choose whether to use the condo concierge or the hotel concierge. Take the elevator downstairs for fine dining, the cafe or a cocktail. Of course you can also order service to your room.

My favorite part of The Waterview is the rooftop terrace. They are creating a gorgeous rooftop lounge available only to the residents of Waterview condominium. You get panoramic views that extend as far as FedEx Field in Landover Maryland. The rooftop will be well furnished and open air all year long. It will be the premier place to be on July 4th.

The Hotel Palamar has been open since the beginning of 2008. The Waterview residences are wrapping up construction and homeowners will begin moving in this summer. There are still some choice units left with a variety of flooplans. If you miss this opportunity it might not come around again for a long time. Turnover is likely to be low at The Waterview and because you can’t find these views anywhere else in Washington DC, demand will remain high.

Cheers to this great new addition to Arlington VA real estate!
